The Balkan and Black Sea ICT Clusters Network joins the European Digital SME Alliance

Brussels 21 March 2016 – The largest group of ICT clusters in the Balkan and Black Sea region, BBS ICT Clusters Network, becomes member of the European Digital SME Alliance.

The European Digital SME Alliance was officially launched on 15 March 2016 during the CeBIT of Hannover. The alliance is a Brussels based international non-for profit association that promotes the interests of European digital SMEs in the EU.

The BBS ICT Clusters Network is the joint effort of 19 national and regional clusters in South East Europe. Its aim is to strengthen collaboration among clusters and increase the competitiveness of the sector on the global market.

Dr. Oliver Grün, president of the European Digital SME Alliance welcomed the new membership: “The BBS ICT Clusters Network is a strong regional partner for our Alliance. With it we strengthen our position as the largest organization representative of the ICT SME sector in Europe. Thanks to our existing and new members we now reach about 20.000 SMEs in 18 countries both EU members and neighbors.”

Stelian Brad, President of BBS ICT Clusters Network for 2016 sees in this membership a big opportunity to increase the visibility of the ICT sector from the Balkan and Black See region in the Western part of Europe and true chances for new Est-West ICT-related businesses. “We see this step well-aligned with the paradigm of playing together a smarter game, not draining brain”, Dr. Brad said with the occasion of official announcement of the new membership.

Danube ICT Clusters’ sustainable cooperation for smart and inclusive growth – Strategic ICT Clusters’ Meeting

The Strategic ICT Clusters’ Meeting for Danube ICT Clusters’ sustainable cooperation for smart and inclusive growth project was held on February 18th and-19th 2016, at Art Hotel Belgrade, Serbia. The meeting was organized under the framework of the DANUBE ICT Project, financed by START program of Danube Strategy of the EC.

Meeting was attended by the representatives and the project partners from the Balkans and Danube Region countries. Special guests of the meeting were Mr. Mohammed Al Hammadi, founder and Chief Executive of InvestSource and Mr. Sebastiano Toffaletti Alliance Secretary General of Digital SME Alliance the European Voice of High Tech SME.

The meeting gave an opportunity to ICT clusters to create favorable conditions for sustainable future collaboration based on cross-cluster and cross-industry collaboration.

During the meeting all partners have shared presentations on good practices and examples for cross-cluster and cross-industry collaboration from their regions. Mr. Stelian Brad, chairman of Cluj IT Cluster, introduced the survey on cross-industry and cross-cluster collaboration which should be the main bases for development of a common action plan for cross-industry collaboration. Guest speaker Mr. Al Hammadi had a speech about the possibilities for future partnership with Dubai companies on African market

Mr. Toffaletti explained the role of Digital SME Alliance the European Voice of High Tech SME and officially invited the Network to become a member, emphasizing added value of the membership.
The event has finished with the fruitful discussion regarding future cross- industry cooperation on regional market.

The strategic ICT Clusters’ Meeting will take place on February 18th

share knowledge and experiences on cross-cluster and cross-industry
collaborations in their clusters and regions.

and Chief Executive of InvestSource and Mr. Sebastiano Toffaletti,
Alliance Secretary General of Digital SME Alliance – The European
Voice of High Tech SME.

The Balkan and Black Sea ICT Clusters Network is a bottom-up
initiative that reunites some of the most important cluster
initiatives in the ICT sector from this macro-region. Currently the
Network includes 17 organizations from all countries in the Balkan and
Black Sea Region. Our aim is to create new business opportunities for
cluster members, to open new markets and to build bridges for
cross-border and cross-industry collaborations.

Delegacija Crnogorskog IT klastera prisustvovala je medjunarodnom skupu AGRO ICT

Delegacija Crnogorskog IT klastera prisustvovala je međunarodnom skupu AGRO ICT održanom 25 i 26 og novembra u Skoplju. Osnovna tema skupa je bila kako, učešćem savremenih ICT tehnologija, podići nivo poljoprivredne proizvodnje.

Delegaciju Crnogorskog IT klastera, u sastavu Aleksandar Prelević predsjednik, Aleksandar Radulović član borda i Vladan Tabaš član borda primio je Ambasador Crne Gore u Makedoniji Gospodin Predrag Mitrović. U dužem srdačnom razgovoru prezentirane su mogućnosti saradnje dvije države uz pomoć kancelarije za ekonomsku saradnju ambasade.

Predsjednik Crnogorskog IT klastera prisustvovao je 27.11. trećem sastanku Balkans and Black Sea ICT klaster inicijative. Predsjedavanje inicijativom je preuzeo ICT klaster iz Kluža. Na sastanku smo prezentirali rezultate prekograninične saradnje sa Kosovom i sa STIKK asocijacijom iz Prištine.

Potpisan MoU sa regionalnim klasterima na SEE IT konferenciji, održanoj u Sarajevu, 21-22.05.2015

Crnogorski IT klaster ucestvovao je na SEE IT Konferenciji odzanoj u Sarajevu 21-22 May 2015. Kenferencija je privukla oko 200 ucesnika iz zemalja regiona i EU. Predsjednik Crnogorskog IT klastera, Aleksandar Prelevic, potpisao je Memorandum of Understanding sa srodnim regionalnim asocijacijama iz Albanije, Bosne i Hercegovine, Kosova, Makedonije i Srbije. Memorandum of Understanding uredjuje medjusobne odnose i predstavlja temelj regionalnog nastupa na trecim trzistima.

Susret predstavnika Klastera sa g-dinom Vujicom Lazović, potpresjednikom Vlade CG.

Predstavnici Klastera održali su 18.12.2014 godine vjerujemo važan susret sa resornim ministrom i potp.Vlade g.Lazovićem i pom.ministra, g.Duraković. Prepoznata je potreba i dogovoren okvir saradnje za 2015 godinu. Prvi naredni sastanak održaće se u drugoj polovini Januara, na temu konkretnog plana saradnje. Riječ je prije svega o radu na aktivnostima usmjerenim na podršku razvoju informatičkog društva, ali i nastojanje da se osmisli plan podrške za projekte u kojima bi bio ukuučen IT Klaster.

Saradnja sa IT udruženjima Austrije i Njemačke

Crnogorski IT Klaster je  okviru projekta Promocije regionalnog IT-ja udruženjima predstavio kompanijama iz Austrije i Nemačke IT sektor Crne Gore.  
Na prezentacija koje su početkom oktobra održane u Beču, Minhenu i Štutgartu,  predstavnici regiona su govorili o trenutnim prilikama na tržištima i istakli prednosti strukovnog udruživanja.

Tom prilikom su potpisani  memorandumi o saradnji sa Bavarskim klasterom informacionih i komunikcionih tehnologija (BICCnet) iz Minhena i udruženjem Bwcon koje predstavlja oblast Baden-Württemberg.
Ovi memorandumi imaju za cilj da se razmjenom informacija, iskustava i znanja između potpisnika stvore bolji uslovi za poslovanje kompanija članica na njemačkom tržištu.
